We were thrilled to celebrate the feast day of our patron saint Joseph. Our joy doubled to honour and recognize the great efforts and selfless service of the supporting staff of our school as we celebrated another remarkable occasion - the international Labour’s day. It is celebrated in India on 1st May commemorating the hard work and dedication of labours in the organisations. However, we celebrated both these great events on 6 May 2023.
The event commenced with prayer song and lighting the lamp ceremony through which
Rev Fr. Yousuf Masih- the chief guest of the day, Rev Fr Sunil - the manager, Rev Sr. Elsita- the principal, Miss Ishpreet the office staff, S. Dilbag Singh the senior supporting staff took part in the auspicious lighting the lamp ceremony. Sr Elsita - the principal welcomed the most invited guests with her speech. The chief guest and guest of honor were warmly welcome with bouquets. Hindi speech by presented by student of class VIII to enlighten the significance of the day. The students of class VIII presented a thoughtful play on the dignity of the labour. Furthermore, dance performance by students of class I B enthralled everyone. Various other programs such as dance by girls, wishing song, St. Joseph's song were performed by our talented students. Moreover, the supporting staff was felicitated with cards and presents as token of love. Through his address, Rev Fr Yousuf Masih appreciated the institution and encouraged everyone to value the workers. Following the celebration dance, Rev Fr Sunil the manager proposed vote of thanks. At the end, the school proudly sang the School Anthem.
